PartnerED has worked closely with leaders, boards, practitioners and students from a variety of sectors, including K-12 and higher education, healthcare, government municipalities, foundations, and the arts to fulfill their organization’s respective mission, vision and strategic goals through Culturally Responsive Practices. Through guided instruction, self-reflection, facilitated discussion, and experiential learning, we work alongside individuals to deepen their understanding of the foundational principles of culturally responsive practices that they can apply to co-create environments that are responsive, relevant, and inclusive to the people around them.
From the students and staff in your schools to the colleagues throughout your organization, each person brings their own lived experiences, beliefs, assumptions, values, and their multiple ways of being to every space they inhabit. In short, each one of us has a culture that informs how we see the world, ourselves, and others. This matters because how we collaborate, connect, and communicate are all impacted by our own culture, and the culture of others. By establishing a common language and developing a shared understanding of how culture impacts us all, each one of us can become better equipped to take on multiple perspectives, build empathy, strengthen interpersonal relationships, and resolve conflict in productive and constructive ways — all attributes that can positively contribute to any environment.
Culturally Responsive Practices provides research-based frameworks, best-practice learning tools and developmental strategies to develop and strengthen both the knowledge and skills necessary for individuals to increase their ability to become more culturally responsive. We are committed to providing a learning environment that leads with care and compassion, allowing room for mistakes, questions and discovery without shame or blame.
