Bob Manning
Education Consultant
Bob Manning is an Education Consultant for SchoolIQ.
He is a seasoned educator whose business experience combined with 27 years as a teacher have given him a unique perspective on training a 21st century workforce through collaborative partnerships with employers.
Bob taught geography for 25 years in Stillwater prior to helping lead the development of the Pathways program. He is currently a Career Pathways Coordinator for Stillwater Area High School, where he connects students to real world experiences with local businesses and helps educators design curriculum that meet the needs of the new economy.
Bob began his career as an insurance underwriter and later founded Global Perspective, creating and conducting customized seminars for multinational corporations. He has taught in the United States and overseas, including Target’s offshore facility in Bangalore, India. He and his wife also own The Passport Club, a geography education program that nurtures curiosity of the world in young people to help them become globally competent adults.
Bob is a Certified Teacher Coordinator of Work-based Learning, holds a Masters in Teaching from the University of St. Thomas and a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from St. John’s University. He serves on the Leadership in the Valley Steering Committee for the Greater Stillwater Chamber of Commerce as well as the United Way Giving Committee.
