IDI Provides In-Depth Insights
The IDI provides in-depth insights on how individuals and groups make sense of cultural differences and how they respond to cultural differences. The IDI; is not a personality test, nor does it evaluate personal characteristics or traits. What the IDI does assess is the complexity with which one experiences cultural differences.
IDI Offers Five Developmental Orientations
According to the IDI, intercultural competence spans a developmental continuum, with five distinct developmental orientations or worldviews. These worldviews represent increasingly complex ways of experiencing cultural difference.
